This year, we’re introducing Monthly Member Appreciation Days at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium. It’s our way of saying “thank you” for being such an amazing part of our Zoo community.
One Sunday per month, you’ll enjoy a special perk exclusive to our members. Each month brings a new surprise to enhance your Zoo experience!
January 26: One Free Personal Theater Popcorn

April 13: Interactive Animal and Enrichment Experiences

Meet-and-greet with some of our ambassador animals, help us create enrichment for the animals at our Zoo and engage in educational opportunities in our Scott Aquarium Conference Center.
Activities take place only on April 13, 2025. Member must present active membership and valid photo I.D. at time of check in.
May: Free Roundtrip Rides Tickets

Each membership holder will be given a limited number of tickets based on their membership level.
- Household, Military, Grandparent, and Patrons: Six tickets (two adult tickets and four child tickets)
- Dual: Two tickets (two adult tickets)
- Individual: One ticket (one adult ticket)
Tickets can be picked up onsite beginning May 1 through May 31, 2025.
To pick up your tickets, scan the barcode on your membership card at a kiosk outside of the main entrance. Tickets may be redeemed for one roundtrip ride on either the train, tram, Skyfari or Sue’s Carousel.
Ticket valid through October 26, 2025. Membership must be active to redeem tickets. All rides are seasonal and weather dependent.
June 8: Giveaways and Drawings

All members who visit the Zoo on June 8 will be automatically entered into a drawing for a free membership renewal or a pair of Late Nights at the Zoo tickets! Plus, the first 100 member households to arrive will receive a special giveaway.

July 13: Giveaways and Drawings

All members who visit the Zoo on July 13 will be automatically entered into a drawing for a free membership renewal or a Lee G. Simmons Wildlife Safari Park membership! Plus, the first 100 member households to arrive will receive a special giveaway.

August 10: Early Entry Hour

The Plaza Cafe, Main Gift Shop, Wild Explorer, Sue's Carousel, Alaskan Adventure Splash Park, tram, and Bay Family Children's Adventure Trails will be operational. Weather dependent.

The Lied Jungle, Berniece Grewcock Butterfly and Insect Pavilion, select rides, concessions areas and gift areas will be closed until the Zoo opens at 9 a.m. Some animals may not be visible as our animal care and horticulture teams work to prepare exhibits and habitats.
