Which wallet applications are compatible?

At this time, Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium provides Apple Wallet for iPhone users and PassWallet for Android users as options for wallet applications. 

We are aware of the many options available to Android users, such as Google Wallet and Wallet Passes. Your digital membership card can be stored using these other applications. Just be aware, the look of your digital membership card may slightly vary by application. 

Is there an extra cost to use your digital card?

No. Digital cards are included with your membership at no additional cost.  

Can I still use my physical membership card?

Yes. You can continue using your physical card, but we recommend adding the digital version as a convenient backup. In gaining easy access to your membership, you are also making a positive impact on the environment!  

Is the digital card scannable at all entry points?

Yes. It functions just like your physical card and can be scanned at any entrance.  

Does the digital card work offline?

Yes. Once it’s saved to your wallet app, you don’t need Internet access to use it at the gate.  

Can I use my digital card on a smartwatch?

Yes. If your smartwatch supports the use of a wallet app and is connected to your phone, your card will appear there too. 

 

Purchasing or Renewing Your Membership

I just became a member. When will I receive my digital membership?

  • On-site membership purchases: Visit checkout.omahazoo.com/my-account to setup your account and access your digital membership card.   

  • Online membership purchases: You’ll receive a confirmation email with access to your digital membership card.   

  • Mail membership purchases: You’ll receive your physical card within 14 days of the Zoo receiving your order. Once you receive your card, visit checkout.omahazoo.com/my-account to setup your account and access your digital membership card.  

I purchased my membership online and didn't receive a confirmation email. What should I do?

Check your spam or junk folder first. If no luck there, not to worry! Visit checkout.omahazoo.com/my-account to setup your account and access your digital membership card. Please be sure to use the email you registered your membership under. For further assistance, please contact us at (402) 733-8401 or [email protected]. 

I just renewed. Will my membership update in the wallet app automatically?

Yes. Your digital card will refresh automatically in your wallet app with your new expiration date. 

I’m already a member. Can I still get a digital card?

Absolutely! You should have received a confirmation email upon purchase. Locate this email to access your digital membership card. You can also login to your membership account at checkout.omahazoo.com/my-account.  Please be sure to login using the email registered under your membership. 

I still have last year's digital card in my wallet app. Should I delete it?

Not quite yet! If you plan to renew your membership, your card will update automatically in the wallet app. 

In the event you import your membership to your wallet app an additional time, and your expired membership still appears, you are welcome to delete the old card.

Can I add the digital card to more than one phone or wallet?

Yes. You can import your membership to multiple wallet applications and upload to more than one device.  

  • Online membership purchases: You’ll receive a confirmation email with access to your digital membership card.   

  • Mail membership purchases: You’ll receive your physical card within 14 days of the Zoo receiving your order. Once you receive your card, visit checkout.omahazoo.com/my-account to setup your account and access your digital membership card.  

Additionally, Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium and Wildlife Safari Park memberships can be used for one visit per day and are only valid for the individuals covered on the membership.  

I bought my membership online. How do I access my digital card?

Following your purchase, you’ll receive a confirmation email with access to your digital membership card. You can visit checkout.omahazoo.com/my-account to setup your account and access your digital membership card.  Please be sure to use the email registered under your membership.

I purchased an add-on with my Zoo membership. Do I need to add two separate cards to my wallet app?

No. You only need to link your Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium or patron membership to your wallet app. The barcode on your card is linked to your member account, which has record of your membership and add-on purchase.  

I purchased my membership on site. Can I still get a digital card?

Visit checkout.omahazoo.com/my-account to setup your account and access your digital membership card. Please be sure to use the email registered under your membership at the time of purchase.

I purchased a Wildlife Safari Park membership. But it has the Zoo logo on it as well. Does that mean that it also works at the Zoo?

Not exactly. Lee G. Simmons Wildlife Safari Park is owned and operated by Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium. Both organizations operate from the same webstore.   
If you only purchased a Wildlife Safari Park membership, it is only valid at the Park.   

Sharing and Family Access

Can each member of my family have the card on their phone?

Yes. If your membership includes multiple people, you can share the digital card with each person. Your membership can be imported to multiple wallet applications and upload to more than one device.

  • Mail membership purchases: You’ll receive your physical card within 14 days of the Zoo receiving your order. Once you receive your card, visit checkout.omahazoo.com/my-account to setup your account and access your digital membership card.

Does everyone listed on my membership need their own card?

That’s entirely up to you. One card can be added to multiple devices as needed. Please note: Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium and Wildlife Safari Park memberships are valid for one visit per day for the individuals covered on the card.

Who is listed on my membership card?

Login to your account at checkout.omahazoo.com/my-account to view your most current membership information.

Membership Changes and Updates

My membership level changed. Will my card update in my wallet app?

Yes. Any updates to your membership, including level or expiration date, will automatically reflect on your digital card.

If you have changed your membership level, please reference your email confirmation to verify the start date of these benefits.

What if I change phones. Will I lose access to my card?

Only for a short while! Simply import your membership in the wallet application on your new device then it’s as good as new.    

I’m being asked for my membership card number and member ID. Where do I find this information?

Visit checkout.omahazoo.com/my-account to locate your account information or look on the backside of your physical membership card—where your membership card number will be.

Troubleshooting

My card isn’t loading into my wallet app properly. What should I do?

Try closing and reopening your wallet app or restarting your device. To prevent any glitches with your experience, please ensure your phone is running on the latest processor updates.

Can I print the digital card instead?

The digital card is designed for mobile use, but your physical card remains a valid option if needed.
